Press Release: Delay of “Cryptids” Album Due to Production Challenges and Departure of Nikki Hart

[City, State] – The Ghost Riff Riders regret to announce a delay in the release of our upcoming album, “Cryptids.” This decision comes after the recent departure of our talented keyboardist, Nikki “Hex” Hart, and unexpected production issues at our new sound studio.

Nikki’s departure from the band was amicable, and we wish her the best in her future endeavors. Her decision to pursue a different path has left us with the challenge of filling the void she left, particularly in the keyboard sections of our recordings. While some of our members are stepping up to learn and fill in these gaps, this process will take additional time.

In addition to Nikki’s departure, we’ve encountered unforeseen issues with our new sound studio. During renovations at the old hotel we’ve been transforming into our base of operations, we discovered black mold. This has not only slowed our progress but also necessitated a halt in production to ensure the safety of everyone involved. We are actively working on fixing this issue and expect to resume full production shortly.

“Cryptids” is a project that dives deep into the supernatural, exploring legendary beings, animals, and spirits that haunt our modern-day imaginations. The album’s dark, powerful vibe is a testament to the eerie and mysterious themes we’ve embraced. Several tracks are already available on YouTube, giving fans a glimpse into what the final album will sound like once completed.

We want to address the recent leaks on social media regarding our situation. While we appreciate the enthusiasm and interest, we are not hiring a new keyboardist at this time. The remaining band members are fully committed to completing the album and ensuring it lives up to the high standards our fans expect.

We deeply appreciate your patience and support, especially with the pre-orders of the album. If the delay extends beyond another week, we will issue full refunds to those who pre-ordered. Please know that this album is a labor of love, and we are doing everything in our power to deliver it to you as soon as possible.
